Hello! I thought since this is my first blog post, I should introduce myself. I'm Summer, the photographer behind Summer Jordan Photography. I am based out of Ocala, Florida. I've lived here for almost 5 years. Not many people know I'm here, since I don't advertise much. If you're here, and reading this, please leave me a comment and say hello! I began my photography business in 2007 with a little DSLR, a Nikon D60. I got it during a Black Friday Sale. That following weekend, I was asked to take some headshots for a company I was involved in that hosted celebrity meet and greet events. So I did. And the client loved them. And she also became one of my very best friends from that day on. I love it when I meet people and we connect. It's so much a part of what I do.
I am a mom. I have a teenage daughter that's almost done with high school. She's ....... A Senior. Do you know how hard that is to even say? I remember when she got here like it was just a few years ago. In my mind's time comprehension, she should be, like...five. But she's not. Shes' pretty much a grown woman. On the opposite end of the spectrum, I also have two boys. 3 and 4 1/2. They are VERY MUCH boys. Climbing everything, loud, rambunctious, covered in dirt. All of it. My life is not boring, I can tell you that.
I have 2 cats, that still don't have proper names after having them for almost 2 years. They go by Pretty Kitty and Minou. Pretty Kitty just gets called that because she's actually just pretty. And Minou literally means "Kitty" in French. I love Orange cats. These are my 4th and 5th orange cats. They're just always the friendliest ones.
Aside from photography, I really enjoy music. I have a very eclectic taste in music. I like just about everything, except for Polka. I don't think anyone likes Polka. Unless you're from a Polka playing lineage. LOL I LOVE my coffee and when it's time for wine, mine's red.
If you're still here, and would like to know more, send me a message, leave a comment, find me on Facebook and Instagram. I love to meet new people, and I would be thrilled to get some messages from some new followers!
